Labrador Retriever is the fans' favorite

The fans voted the Lab as the Purina's Viewers Choice Best in Show

The Scottish Terrier was named Best in Show at the 2009 National Dog Show, but fans had some other ideas about which dog deserved top honors. Their favorite dog was the Labrador Retriever.

The Scottish Terrier won her 100th Best in Show honors at the 2009 National Dog Show, but she wasn't the favorite of the over 16,000 viewers who weighed in on the Purina's Viewers Choice Best in Show poll.

Winning by close to 300 votes, the Labrador Retriever received the most votes by fans.

2. Bulldog - 3,690
3. Scottish Terrier - 2,171
4. Doberman Pinscher - 1,945
