Ray Allen exercised his player option for the 2011-12 season.
Allen will make $10 million in his age-36 season. While we would be wary of decline for most players at this advanced age, Allen is in rare physical condition. He actually set career-high marks in both field-goal percentage (49.1) and 3-point percentage (44.4) last season. Fantasy owners and the Celtics know what they are getting here.
