Andrew Bynum has been suspended without pay for the first five games of the 2011-12 NBA season and fined $25,000 for taking off his jersey after his Game 4 hit on J.J. Barea.
We thought that a suspension was likely looming for the Los Angeles starting center, and it didn't take long for Commissioner David Stern to re-affirm what most were thinking. While the fine might not sound like much, adding in the lost wages for the missed games his total hit will come in at just over $700,000.
