Hinrich's hammy improving, but not yet close
Kirk Hinrich - G - Atlanta Hawks
May 10, 2011 - 9:40 AM ET

Kirk Hinrich said his pulled right hamstring is finally showing improvement, but coach Larry Drew conceded he doesn't expect his point guard to play against the Bulls.

Even if the Hawks' second-round series goes to a seventh game, Hinrich is not expected to play. He's only doing "very simple" exercises and it hasn't even been two weeks since he suffered the injury. Major hamstring pulls can take around a month to truly heal.
