David Murphy of the Philadelphia Daily News reports that Juan Castro has agreed to terms with the Phillies on a one-year contract.
Murphy writes that the contract includes a club option for 2011. The deal is pending a physical, so it might not be made official until next week. Castro, 37, will replace Eric Bruntlett as Philadelphia's utilityman. He batted 277/.311/.339 in 112 at-bats for the Dodgers in 2009, while playing second base, shortstop, third base and the outfield.
