
Josh Smith put away the jumper but still hit just 8-of-22 shots, finishing with 23 points, 16 rebounds, eight assists, a steal and two blocks as the Hawks beat the Bulls 100-88 to tie their series at 2-2.
Smoove's misses came from up close, and his defense, along with his all-around solid game, led the Hawks to the win. Joe Johnson added 24 points and three 3-pointers on 9-of-14 shooting, Al Horford added 20 points, five boards, a steal and a block, and Jeff Teague added 12 points and four assists, along with some big plays down the stretch in the win. Game 5 is Tuesday in Chicago.
