Warriors holding out for 'veteran' head coach
Monta Ellis - G - Golden State Warriors

The Warriors are patiently compiling a list of candidates for their vacant head coaching job, with an emphasis on a "veteran" NBA coach.

Possible targets include Lawrence Frank and Dwane Casey, who both have prior head coaching experience, as well as Lakers' assistant Brian Shaw. It's hard to imagine a new coach implementing as free-wheeling a system as Don Nelson and Keith Smart preferred, though the team's personnel does lend itself to an uptempo attack.
