DiPietro will practice with Islanders Tuesday

Rick DiPietro (knee) will practice with the New York Islanders Tuesday.
DiPietro has been skating since August and has taken shots. "Everything has gone according to plan," Gordon said. "This isn't anything unexpected. We'd be disappointed if he wasn't on the ice soon." DiPietro hasn't played since January and he's still not close to returning to the Islanders' lineup. This is another significant step in the right direction, but we'd recommend you err on the side of caution when it comes to DiPietro.
