The Knicks will target Samuel Dalembert in free agency, sources tell the New York Post.
The Knicks are desperate for a rebounding, shot-blocking big man to take defensive pressure off Amare Stoudemire and Dalembert fits the bill. They would likely have to use the full mid-level exception, but Dalembert went to college at Seton Hall and may give the Knicks a slight discount. With little competition for minutes in Mike D'Antoni's uptempo scheme, Dalembert would be a good bet for 10 boards and two blocks a night.
