Derrick Rose will be officially named the NBA's MVP at a 4 p.m. CT press conference.
At just 22 years old, Rose becomes the youngest player to ever win the MVP. His third season was a true breakout, raising his points per game to 25.0 and his 3-point shooting from inept to a weapon. Despite injuries to both Carlos Boozer and Joakim Noah, the Bulls never lost two games in a row and earned the No. 1 seed in the East due to Rose. It's a well-deserved honor for the third-year pro.
