Duncan could restructure contract

Tim Duncan may opt to restructure his contract to secure a long-term deal this offseason.
Duncan is owed $21.2 million in the final year of his deal, but the 35-year-old would be wise to sign a new contract that will take him through the end of his career. He'll have to accept a lower salary, but that will give the Spurs some flexibility to perhaps sign a free agent. Regardless, Duncan will almost certainly finish his career in San Antonio.
