Kane skates prior to practice Wednesday

Patrick Kane (ankle) skated prior to Wednesday's morning skate.
Chicago plans to take the next three days off following Wednesday's contest to rest and recharge their batteries, which should help Kane. Coach Joel Quenneville wants to see if Kane will be able to get back into the lineup after the NHL's Christmas break. "We'll see how he presents out of the break with a chance of playing one of those first couple of games," said the Blackhawks' bench boss.
