Laperriere still doesn't feel right skating
Ian Laperriere - W - Philadelphia Flyers
Dec. 22, 2010 - 10:10 AM ET

Ian Laperriere is still dealing with post-concussion symptoms.

"It's the worst time in my career by far," Laperriere said. "It's been hard. I skated with my kids [Sunday] morning and I still just don't feel right. When I work out [off the ice] I am fine. I feel all right. But when I am on the ice, and I see the lights, that's when I don't feel right. I really do believe this is coming from my eye." Laperriere said the vision in his right eye is still blurry around one corner. However, he's stopped seeing neurologists and concussion specialists, saying that everyone says something different and he doesn't see the point right now. He's currently on the Flyers' long-term injury reserve list.
