Michael Del Zotto has just nine points in 34 games this season.
Del Zotto had 37 points in his rookie season to go along with a disastrous minus-20 rating. He's been trying to improve defensively in 2010-11, but it seems to have negatively affected the offensive side of his game. At this point, he's even been replaced on the Rangers top power-play unit by Marc Staal. "Because he's such a trier, he's almost trying too hard," coach John Tortorella said. "At that position, you have to let the game come to you. I still think he's learning the definition of 'letting the game come to you.'" Eventually, it will all come together for Del Zotto, but he won't have much fantasy value until that happens.
