Deng plays well in Game 1 loss to Hawks
Luol Deng - F - Chicago Bulls
May 3, 2011 - 12:00 AM ET

Luol Deng played well in the Bulls' Game 1 loss to the Hawks on Monday, scoring 21 points on 8-of-12 shooting with six rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block.

Carlos Boozer was horrible defensively, but did turn in 14 points on 6-of-11 shooting with eight boards and three assists, and Joakim Noah didn't have enough of his trademark energy plays to carry the night (though he did have a nice dunk at one point). The Bulls' defense as a whole was unimpressive, and that's certainly where Tom Thibodeau will start in his next team meeting.
