Paul Pierce ejected in game 1 vs. Miami Heat

Paul Pierce was ejected from Sunday's game 1 vs. Miami on Sunday.
Pierce received a technical after initiating a skirmish with Heat swingman James Jones, and was thrown out via his second tech after setting a hard screen on Dwyane Wade. While the second technical was rather undeserved, Pierce was already treading thin ice with his decision to go after Jones. It should be interesting to see if David Stern will hand out any consequences for the second game of this highly anticipated series.
