Jason Kidd scored just four points in the Mavs' Game 5 win over the Blazers on Monday, hitting 1-of-7 shots along the way, but handed out 14 assists to go with seven rebounds as the Mavs took a 3-2 series lead.
He and Jason Terry (20 points) kept the pressure applied on the Blazers, and throw in a few threes and dribble penetrations from Peja Stojakovic and J.J. Barea, respectively, and the backcourt for the Mavs did their part tonight. It doesn't hurt that they limited Wesley Matthews and Brandon Roy to 13 points, either.
