Elias scores only Devils goal in loss to Caps

Patrik Elias scored his seventh goal of the season on Tuesday, but it was not nearly enough as the Capitals blew out New Jersey by a score of 5-1.
The news is not all good since Elias was also tagged with a minus-3 rating in the game, bringing him to minus-10 on the year. With only seven goals, Elias has clearly been caught in the undertow of the scuffling Devils and like many of his teammates, we don't expect a significant turnaround in the near future.
