Tony Allen played just 25 minutes to finish with seven points, three boards, three assists and a steal on 2-of-6 shooting in Sunday's Game 1 win.
He hurt his right calf in the first half, but played sparingly in the second. Given how badly starter Sam Young played (1-of-3, 2 points, 15 minutes), as well as Allen's injury, Shane Battier could play a bigger role in this series going forward. He was clutch today, hitting a key late 3-pointer and finishing with 10 points, two rebounds and two 3-pointers on 4-of-5 shooting in 25 minutes. O.J. Mayo chipped in with 13 points in 30 minutes, and is going to get a lot of minutes in this one as well, but he'll have to take better shots after going just 5-of-13 today.
