Leighton knows he has to be patient

Michael Leighton understands that he will have to wait patiently for his first taste of NHL action this season.
"Obviously, I want to play," he said following a practice. "It's not a good situation to have three goalies, but I just have to do what I can do, work hard in practice, and be patient." Philadelphia has been using Sergei Bobrovksy and Brian Boucher interchangeably of late, which has led to less practice time for Leighton. However, he is working hard to stay fit in order to be ready for when he eventually gets his chance.
