Kobe passes Kareem on Laker scoring list

Kobe Bryant surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to become the second-highest scorer in Lakers history on Thursday.
Next up, Jerry West. He nearly triple-doubled as well, scoring 21 points with nine rebounds, eight assists, and a block. Pau Gasol added 24 points in his season debut, as the Lakers fielded their true starting lineup for the first time this season.
