Nets coach Avery Johnson called re-signing impending free agent Kris Humphries a "high priority."
Humphries earned a long-term deal by averaged 10.0 points, 10.4 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game this season. He's still only 26 and his rugged style fits well next to Brook Lopez's finesse. If re-signed, Hump projects as the Nets' starting power forward on Opening Day next season -- whenever that is.
