Staal pots natural hat trick in win

Eric Staal recorded a natural hat trick in the Hurricanes' 4-2 triumph over the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday night.
The 26-year old Staal is scoring at better than a point-per-game pace, with 33 points in 31 games. Staal has been around a point-per-game for his entire career, so expect him to keep up this type of production for the remainder of the season. The Canes' centerman now has 16 goals on the year. Jussi Jokinen added a goal and an assist for the Canes, while Joe Corvo chipped in with an empty netter.
