White Sox, others interested in Blanco

The White Sox are one of several teams that has expressed an interest in catcher Henry Blanco.
Blanco threw out 40 percent of would-be basestealers during the 2009 season for San Diego, and former Padres GM Kevin Towers had expressed an interest in bringing him back. However, agent Steven Schneider said multiple teams have expressed interest in the 38-year old. Blanco should have no problem landing with a competitive team at a nice salary given his defensive wizardry and acceptable offense.
