NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -The Tennessee Titans have run several tests on receiver Justin Gage, checking him out after a high, leaping catch against San Francisco has left him sore from head to toe.
Gage missed practice Wednesday and says he hasn't received the test results yet. He says he started hurting once the adrenaline wore off following the 34-27 win over the 49ers on Sunday.
The receiver had a season-high 97 yards receiving highlighted by his leaping grab between two defenders for a 33-yard completion. He landed on his left side.
He hopes to play Sunday when the Titans (2-6) host the Buffalo Bills (3-5).
