Report: Granderson could be traded
Curtis Granderson - OF - Detroit Tigers
Nov. 11, 2009 - 2:50 PM ET

Joel Sherman of the New York Post cites a National League executive who says that the Tigers have let other teams know that Curtis Granderson is available "for the right package."
Granderson would surely have many suitors, with the Yankees near the top of the list, according to Sherman. The 28-year-old outfielder batted .249/.327/.453 with 30 home runs, 71 RBI and 20 stolen bases in 2009, but struggles notoriously against left-handed pitching. Still, he is very solid in the field and would give the Yankees an alternative to Johnny Damon. Granderson is owed $25.75 million over the next three seasons, with a $13 million club option for 2013.
