WHARTON, N.J. - Running back Malcolm Jones of Oaks Christian High School (Westlake Village, Calif.) was named the U.S. Army All-American Bowl Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 24. Jones earned the honor after carrying the ball 11 times for 135 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Lions to a 43-0 victory over Santa Barbara High School. He also had three catches for 16 yards.
Jones shared the victory with teammate Cassius Marsh, who joins him as a participant in the 2010 U.S. Army All-American Bowl. Jones recently gave a verbal commitment to UCLA, agreeing to become a member of the Bruins after his high school graduation.
