Evan Turner appears in line for an increase

With Lou Williams sidelined for at least the remainder of the regular season, coach Doug Collins called today's Sixers' practice "a practice for Evan Turner to get his mind right".
Apparently, the Sixers think that the rookie can handle Williams' spot in the rotation. Turner has recently racked up a bunch of DNP-CD's lately so we're skeptical as to exactly how integral his role will wind up being, and he's a poor bet to eclipse 20-25 minutes per night. If owners are desperate he might be worth a flier, but expectations should definitely be tempered.
