Coyotes have an interest in Chelios

Phoenix Coyotes' GM Don Maloney has some interest in signing veteran defenseman Chris Chelios.
He is projected to do some scouting when Chelios comes to play against the Coyotes' AHL affiliate in San Antonio on Friday. Chelios is currently playing with the Chicago Wolves. Phoenix has been hit hard with injuries to their blueline of late and having a player with some experience back there would certainly help them out. Stay tuned.
