Pietrangelo nets lone goal for Blues

Alex Pietrangelo scored the Blues' lone goal in a 2-1 shootout loss to Carolina Saturday night.
The rookie defenseman continued to prove his ability at both ends of the ice, netting his third of the season on the powerplay, and his 15th point overall. Pietrangelo snapped a four-game pointless drought with the goal, which helped the Blues clinch a crucial point by forcing the extra frame. Patrik Berglund and Alex Steen assisted on the goal.
