Jason Kidd struggled in the Mavs' loss to the Warriors on Saturday, scoring three points on 1-of-7 shooting (no threes) with three rebounds, six assists, and a steal in 29 minutes, and also limped off the floor after banging knees with a Warriors player.
Kidd says the injury isn't serious, but with any aging player it's worth keeping an eye on and we're marking him probable for Sunday's game. The loss puts the Mavs 2.5 games behind the Lakers for the No. 2 seed, and with the Thunder three games behind them, they may have wedged themselves in the No. 3 spot. As soon as their seeding is set in stone, Kidd will become a rest-risk.
