Ondrej Pavelec turned aside 25 of 28 shots, but it wasn't enough as the Avalanche beat Atlanta by a score of 4-2 on Friday night.
We knew it couldn't last forever, but the way Pavelec has played recently makes it surprising to see that he has actually lost a game. The young netminder has clearly established himself as the go-to guy in the Thrashers' crease and he has earned a well-deserved night off on Saturday.
