Chauncey Billups was a man on a mission during Wednesday's 120-116 win against New Jersey, posting 33 points on 10-of-23 shooting (3-of-9 from downtown) with six rebounds, six assists, a steal and no turnovers in 36 minutes.
Billups said to Coach D'Antoni before the game that he felt like the spring was back in his step and it clearly showed tonight. He also hit 10-of-10 from the foul line and looks ready to roll. It couldn't come at a better time for the Knicks, who could sorely use all the help that they can get right now.
