Sacco puts the Avs through a bag skate

Coach Joe Sacco put his Colorado Avalanche through a bag skate on Wednesday.
The Avs usually skate for 45 minutes but Sacco put them though a 75 minute practice on Wednesday and then made them skate blueline to blueline for another 15 minutes. The Avs are 1-3-3 in their last seven and apparently Sacco wanted to shake them up. "We've got to be better," Matt Duchene said. "It was a good, hard one today but that's fine." The Avs take on the Thrashers in Atlanta on Friday. Look for a good effort from the visitors.
