Phaneuf may return as early as Thursday

Dion Phaneuf's leg injury may allow him to return on Thursday night against Philadelphia.
"It's all how it reacts and how it feels," said Phaneuf. "I'd love to play (Thursday). Focus on that. If I wake up (Thursday) and it's feeling good, then that will be when it is. I haven't said for sure, the medical staff hasn't said for sure. It's one day at a time." The Toronto captain appears to be days away from returning to the lineup and we'll keep you posted.
