LaMarcus Aldridge was an afterthought in Monday's game against the Spurs' JV squad, scoring just nine points on 4-of-10 shooting with three rebounds, two assists, and a block in 37 minutes.
He played, but faded into the background in a game in which the Spurs played almost all second stringers. That explanation isn't going to help the pain for owners, but in such a strange game owners can find some comfort in knowing that it was a total fluke.
