Letang leads all defensemen in All-Star votes
Kris Letang - D - Pittsburgh Penguins
Dec. 8, 2010 - 9:25 AM ET

Kris Letang leads all NHL defensemen in All-Star voting despite being left off the ballot.

The write-in campaign for the Penguins rearguard has been amazing with Letang trailing only teammate Sidney Crosby in voting. Letang is off to the best start of his career with 26 points in 29 games and should be considered as one of the early leaders in the race for the Norris Trophy which is given to the NHL's best defenseman. Letang is hot of late with one goal and seven points in his last five games.
