Canada beats USA 5-1 in Four Nations final

TIKKURILA, Finland (AP) -Canada has beaten the United States 5-1 in the Four Nations Cup final behind a goal and two assists from Meaghan Mikkelson.

Jocelyne Lamoreux gave the U.S. the lead midway through the first period Saturday before Canada took over the game.

Carla MacLeod, Meghan Aghosta, Tessa Bonhomme and Cherie Piper also scored for the Canadians.

The U.S. had beaten Canada 3-2 in their final group game on Friday.

It was the 12th final between the two countries in the Four Nations Cup. Canada has won nine.
