WHARTON, N.J. - Dillon Baxter of Mssion Bay High School (San Diego, Calif.) was named the U.S. Army All-American Bowl Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 11. Baxter, who led his team to a 41-34 win over Lincoln High School (San Diego, Calif.), rushed for 268 yards, passed for 277 yards, scored six total touchdowns and intercepted a pass. Baxter has led Mission Bay to a 5-0 record to start the year.
The U.S. Army All-American Bowl Player of the Week was designed to recognize the nation’s top performance of the week. The winner will be announced each Monday, throughout the season and noted on www.usarmyallamericanbowl.com.
