Jerod Turner shot 11-over-par 79-76=155 at the Valero Texas Open, and will miss the cut.
Turner has status on the PGA TOUR this year via a Minor Medical Extension due to a recurring back injury. The VTO was his first start on the circuit since the Wyndham Championship last August. Overall, he hit just 16 greens in two loops of TPC San Antonio this week and circled a mere three birdies. He now has four starts remaining on his Minor Medical to earn $695,634 and get elevated to the Major Medical category.
