Niklas Hjalmarsson has an upper body injury

Niklas Hjalmarsson will miss Friday's game because of an upper body injury.
Hjalmarsson had missed the Blackhawks' Wednesday and Thursday practices because of what was believed to be the flu. The Chicago Blackhawks haven't disclosed the nature of the Hjalmarsson's injury, but he's heading back to Chicago while his teammates remain in San Jose for Friday's contest. Chicago is scheduled to play in Phoenix on Saturday and we'd be very surprised if Hjalmarsson rejoins his team in time for that contest.
