Foster gets a game misconduct Thursday

Kurtis Foster was handed a five-minute major and a game misconduct for boarding St. Louis' Chris Porter on Thursday.
Porter was hit behind the Devils' net and sustained a cut on his head. Porter needed stitches, but he returned before the conclusion of the game. "From what the ref told me when I was skating off, he just said that with the guy bleeding from his head, he had to call it," Foster said. All the same, Foster might have to talk to the NHL's Department of Player Safety about the possibility of additional punishment.
