Mike Smith continues strong play in win

Mike Smith kicked away 23 shots Thursday night in the Phoenix Coyotes' 2-1 overtime win over the Calgary Flames.
With a team that doesn't exactly light the world on fire on offense, the Yotes' playoff chances lie heavily on the play of Smith. It's no shock then that in their four-game winning streak, the netminder has allowed a total of six goals -- one in each of the past three games. Smith has a 2.39 goals-against average, .923 save percentage and a 22-14-7 record this season.
