Max Pacioretty registered his first NHL hat trick in a 4-2 win over the Islanders Thursday night.
Pacioretty registered the first hat trick of his NHL career and also reached the 20-goal mark for first time. At 5 vs 5, Pacioretty now has 2 more points than Claude Giroux, and only trails NHL point leader Evgeni Malkin by 9 points. He has been the Canadiens best player this season. Good job if you were able to scoop him up in the late stages of your draft or on the waiver wire.
