Hoffman will own overnight clubhouse lead
March 10, 2011 - 6:30 PM ET

Charley Hoffman posted a 5-under-par 34-33=67 in his opening round of the World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship, and will hold the overnight clubhouse lead.

Blondilocks has given his owners very little about which to get excited this year, so they'll continue to hold their collective breath all weekend. He hit just 12 greens, but needed only 24 putts to finish before play was suspended for darkness. His longest of seven birdie conversions disappeared from 14'5" at the par-3 13th hole.
