Kane pleads not guilty in court

Patrick Kane pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor charges in an arraignment Thursday.
Court was adjourned until August 27. Kane pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor assault, theft and harassment charges stemming from an incident in which he allegedly stole money and beat up a cab driver in Buffalo. A more serious felony charge was dismissed by the court, which means that Kane's likelihood of facing jail time is minimal.
