Coach Andy Reid said Friday that Brian Westbrook (concussions) will miss at least the Eagles' next three games.
And he's not even a safe bet to return after that. Three weeks is the timetable concussion specialists set for Westbrook's next checkup, which may or may not involve medical clearance. LeSean McCoy has better shot at starting for the rest of the season than Westbrook does of returning in Week 14.
Eagles RCB Sheldon Brown (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Week 11.
Brown was able to get in a limited practice week, despite initial reports that he might miss multiple games. His absence would be a plus for Jay Cutler. Asante Samuel gets more publicity, but Brown is Philly's top cover corner.

Eagles WLB Akeem Jordan (knee) has been ruled out for Week 11.
Joe Mays will start at middle linebacker at Chicago with Chris Gocong back on the strong side and Will Witherspoon at weak-side 'backer. However, the Bears don't run the ball well enough for this to significantly help Matt Forte.
According to beat writer Jeff McLane, "all signs are pointing to" Joe Mays starting at middle linebacker for the Eagles this week.
Defensive coordinator Sean McDermott admitted that Chris Gocong had a rough game in the middle and would likely head back to the strong side. Will Witherspoon is staying on the weak side, so rookie Moise Fokou will head back to the bench. Mays is solid in the run game, but the Eagles may need Witherspoon to move back to the middle on passing downs.
Sheldon Brown (hamstring) is now considered "day-to-day."
There was a report earlier this week that Brown is out for Week 11 and possibly beyond, but the Eagles don't seem as concerned. Brown says he's going to play and considering how badly the Eagles need this game, we wouldn't be shocked if he does. The Eagles would be forced to start Dimitri Patterson if Brown can't go, which would be a gigantic downgrade.
Eagles LT Jason Peters (ankle) put in a full practice Wednesday and will start Sunday against Chicago.
Don't expect any surprise de-activations this time. Peters is taking a lot of heat for being soft and not playing through nicks in practice or games. He will protect Donovan McNabb's blind side in a game the Eagles figure to pass the ball at least 65-70 percent of the time with Brian Westbrook out.

Jeremy Maclin will not return kickoffs against the Bears this week.
That experiment failed, and it's good news for Maclin's owners. He took a handful of huge shots on kickoffs in Week 10, something he doesn't need as an every-down receiver. The Eagles will turn to Quintin Demps or Macho Harris for the job.
