GM Rob Hennigan said the Magic have not made a decision regarding Hedo Turkoglu's future with the team.
Turkoglu said previously that he would be surprised if the club brought him back, and so would we. Expect the parties to part in the offseason and for Turkoglu to try and restart his career with another team.
Jameer Nelson (ankle) is not expected to play on Wednesday.
Nelson has been sidelined since the end of March and will likely wind up missing the final regular season game. Beno Udrih, who has been an excellent start since Nelson went down, will finish the season on a strong note and a critical waiver wire pickup.
GM Rob Hennigan said there has been no decision made on Al Harrington's future with the team.
It would be a total surprise if Harrington isn't dealt or bought out in the offseason as the Magic are stacked with intriguing prospects along the frontline. Expect to see the veteran wearing a different uniform next year.
Tobias Harris scored 19 points in Wednesday's 105-93 loss to the Heat, adding eight boards, two assists and one steal in 38 minutes.
It was an interesting season for Tobias. After a big 18-point game in his season debut with Milwaukee, he was eventually booted out of the rotation up until he was jettisoned by the Bucks in the J.J. Redick deal. Harris finished the season extremely strong, averaging 21 points, 10 boards, 1.7 blocks and 1.1 steals in 42 minutes during his previous 10 games. He has a cheap contract and the team might groom him for his third season in the NBA.
Nikola Vucevic had another productive game on Wednesday with 20 points, 13 boards and one steal in 37 minutes against the Heat.
He's taken care of business all season and it's hard to believe that he was essentially a throw-in player in the Andrew Bynum deal. Vucevic was second in the league in rebounding and he was one of the biggest pleasant surprises of the season for fantasy owners.
Beno Udrih disappeared in the Magic's 102-84 loss to the Bulls on Monday, scoring five points on 2-of-7 shooting (including a three) to go with just one assist in 23 minutes.
Unless we get surprising news that Jameer Nelson will play in the finale, owners should trot Udrih out there in most cases.
Jameer Nelson (ankle) will not play on Monday vs. Chicago.
Nelson has been sidelined since March 30 and it's a very real possibility his season is over with just one game remaining after Monday. Beno Udrih will continue to play heavy minutes as the starting point guard and is a must-own player.
