Andre Johnson - WR - Houston Texans

Andre Johnson denied an ESPN The Magazine report that he plans to force a trade if the Texans don't make the playoffs.

Johnson's uncle and agent, Andre Melton, made the claims. "That didn't come from me. ... I make my own decisions, and I plan on being here until I retire," Johnson said. Johnson signed an eight-year, $60 million contract in March of 2007 and it's very unlikely he's going anywhere before that deal is up. The Texans are at 5-4 right now but still have a solid shot at making the postseason for the first time in franchise history.

Ryan Moats - RB - Houston Texans

Ryan Moats will come off the bench against the Titans on Monday night.

Steve Slaton has his starting job back as the Texans come out of their bye. Expect Moats to still be part of the committee, but this is obviously a blow to his value. He's not a fantasy option unless Slaton starts putting the ball on the ground again.

Steve Slaton - RB - Houston Texans

Steve Slaton will start for the Texans against the Titans on Monday night.

We thought that Slaton would have to prove he can hold on to the ball before getting his starting job back, but coach Gary Kubiak is apparently convinced. Slaton's role was due to grow anyway because he's clearly their best back, but this a great sign that he has his coach's confidence. Look for Slaton to still share carries with Chris Brown and Ryan Moats, but we like him as a solid flex play this week.

Jacoby Jones - WR - Houston Texans

Texans coach Gary Kubiak confirmed that Jacoby Jones (calf) will be a game-time decision for Monday night's game against the Titans.

Jones did "a little more" in Saturday's practice, but he was still limited. It's a tough break for Jones as he caught four passes in Week 9 and looked like he was heading toward a significant role as the No. 3 receiver. Now he may be reduced to a return role Monday night.

Jacoby Jones - WR - Houston Texans

Texans WR/KR Jacoby Jones (calf) was limited to special teams work in Friday's practice and is questionable for Week 11.

Jones will likely only return kicks and punts if he's active on Monday Night Football. Andre' Davis and David Anderson would then fill in at third receiver.

James Casey - TE - Houston Texans

Texans TE James Casey (knee surgery) has resumed practicing in full.

"He didn't miss anything today," coach Gary Kubiak said. "There have been no setbacks. He's done a heckuva job to get back that fast." We expect Casey to take over as the primary pass-catching tight end, but it's advisable to hold off on starting him in fantasy leagues until he proves worthy.

Jacoby Jones (calf) was "very limited" in Thursday's practice.

Coach Gary Kubiak deemed Jones day-to-day and said Glenn Martinez would fill in on punt returns if necessary. Jones has an extra day to get ready with the Texans playing on Monday night.
