Barry Trotz - C - Nashville Predators

Nashville coach Barry Trotz was not happy with his team's performance in a 4-3 loss to Ottawa Thursday.

Trotz was not at all thrilled with the giveaways and odd-man rushes that the Predators gave away. "I thought we weren't as engaged as we needed to be, I thought we were very sloppy," Trotz said. "If you're going to play against a desperate team, you can't play a sloppy, light game. You're going to have to play a hell of a lot harder night in, night out and tonight we didn't play hard enough to beat the Senators." Look for the Predators to bounce back this weekend.

Mike Fisher - C - Nashville Predators

Mike Fisher was quite emotional with his return to Ottawa for the first time since he was dealt last season.

Fisher got a great ovation when the Senators played highlights of his career on the video screen. "It was definitely emotional for sure, and like I said, a lot of good memories and great times in this building," Fisher said who appeared to be teary-eyed at times. "The fans have been great and it was definitely a fun moment for me." Fisher bought a suite at the arena and his wife, Carrie Underwood attended with family and friends.

Pekka Rinne - G - Nashville Predators

Pekka Rinne was saddled with the loss Thursday night against the Ottawa Senators.

Rinne was one of the NHL's most prolific goaltender last season and finished as the runner-up in the Vezina Trophy voting to Boston netminder Tim Thomas. The 29-year old has again been extremely impressive this season for the Predators and continues to show that he is one of the better options in the crease in the fantasy hockey world. Once again this year, Rinne has seemingly thrust his name right into the conversation for the Vezina Trophy award and has clearly been the key to success for the Preds this season.

Mike Fisher - C - Nashville Predators

Mike Fisher will face his ex-teammates in Ottawa on Thursday night for the first time.

He was originally drafted by the Senators in 1998 and had played his entire career there prior to last season's trade. "I've had a lot of time to think about it," Fisher said. "I think I'm going to be pretty pumped up for it and nervous going to the rink, but it will be fine." The Nashville center has been hot since the start of 2012 with nine goals and eight assists in his last 16 games.

Brian McGrattan - W - Nashville Predators

Brian McGrattan did not travel with his teammates to Ottawa due to an upper-body injury.

He might be able to rejoin the team in Boston for Saturday's contest. McGrattan has racked up 61 minutes in the sin bin and has added two assists in 30 games this season.

Sergei Kostitsyn - W - Nashville Predators

Sergei Kostitsyn has picked up 15 points in his last 16 games.

He has been great of late on Nashville's top line with Martin Erat and Mike Fisher. If he can continue to produce at this rate then he could get close to last season's career-high of 50 points.

David Legwand - C - Nashville Predators

David Legwand registered his 20th assist of the season in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout loss to Vancouver.

Legwand now has 13 goals and 33 points in 50 games. If he can stay healthy, Legwand should surpass the 50-point mark for just the second time in his career.
